Race 1: HAMS CRANE HIRE – BenchMark 50 H’Cap 1100m

LOMI – slow to begin

MR METICULOUS – slow to begin

PAT KASH – slow to begin and raced wide early. When approaching the 700m the jockey elected restrain and shifted mount in to a position closer to the rail

SPYDROPPER – raced wide throughout. Bled both nostrils during the event, connections were advised that the gelding will be barred from racing for a period of 3 months and will be required to gallop 1000m in the presence of Stewards

SOLID ASSET – raced wide throughout


Race 2: SUPA IGA KINGAROY QTIS Maiden Plate 1100m

LION COMING – jumped away awkwardly and was slow into stride

BLOOMIN’ARRY – lost off hind plate during the event

I’M ANTMAN – slow to begin and raced wide in the early stages

BUCK’S ME BOY – gelding resented the kickback


Race 3: THE ROY RANUNZ OAM BenchMark 65 H’Cap 1000m

CLARAGH – slow to begin, jockey reported the mare didn’t appreciate the going

CANID – raced wide throughout

AL’S BRIEF – slow into stride resented kickback when trailing the field

PENNY SHARES - raced with throughout


Race 4: THE NEAL DUFF MEMORIAL Class B H’Cap 1465m

PARELEMA – raced wide and hung out under pressure when entering the home turn

LIMESTONE COWBOY – slow to begin

LIFE BE IN IT – jumped awkwardly

HEIRSROC – was inconvenienced by another runner when entering the home turn

RETURN FLIGHT – raced wide throughout

WILHELMINA – filly resented the kickback, jockey R Achini reprimanded for allowing his mount to shift out when rounding the home turn fully clear of the runner to his outside.

SHE’S WILD – Hung out in the straight


Race 5: THE LEWIS DUFF MEMORIAL OPEN H’Cap 1465m


CLOUDS – Jumped awkwardly

BETTER IDEA – Slow into stride and raced wide in the early to middle stages
