General:
When Jockey David Hayse was unable to attend due to injury replacements were made as per the raceday summary.

Race 1: Y.T.C Ray Slasberg Memorial QTIS Maiden Plate 3-Y-O & Up Set Weights – 900m

SCEPTICS – began awkwardly

MONTE CERVINO – began awkwardly

VICIOUS CHICK – was slow away and hung out at the 600m

WEATHERED MISS - was slow away

DRAGON GOLD – raced wide throughout

HALLE CAT – inclined to lay out under pressure over the concluding stages

Race 2: Patlaw Security Benchmark 65 Handicap - 900m

SCOT FREE – bumped at the start

FRAHA – shifted out at the start and bumped another runner.

BASE JUMP – bumped at the 800m, and rider reported that the gelding was inclined to hang out for the majority of the event.

TUNING – shifted out at the 800m making contact with another runner, at the 600m shifted out and makes contact with another runner and again at the 400m.

SOLIDIFY – bumped at the 800m, 600m and 400m by another runner

Race 3: The Capricornia Community Owned Banking Class B Handicap – 1000m

HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS – was slow away

WAFFLE – was slow away

STAMPEDE STRAP – raced wide throughout

SHE’S GOT BEAUTY – rider reported that the saddle slipped shortly after the start placing him at a disadvantage. Raced wide throughout

SHANDIEN – over raced in the early and middle stages, then commenced to lay out from the 800m to the 400m

RUN EM RAGGED – was declared a late scratching at 10:45 when injured in the float. Trainer L Kiernan was advised that a veterinary certificate must be provided prior to its next start


Race 4: Haymans Electrical & Data Suppliers Class 2 Handicap - 1200m

EPICOZ – was slow away, inclined to lay out at the 200m

KEN’S ROSE – was slow away

MAGIC TWIST – inclined to lay out from the 700m to the 300m, raced wide in the early and middle stages

RED RYDER – shifted out at the start and bumped another runner

JOHANNA’S OWN - bumped at the start by another runner

DAYLIGHT SECOND – reared in the barriers and was withdrawn from the barriers and inspected by the vet and cleared to start. Began awkwardly. A post race veterinary examination revealed superficial abrasions.

SPOOKY MOO – jockey reported that the mare felt sore, a post race veterinary examination revealed mild lameness in the near fore hoof.

Race 5: Pacific Hotel & Liquor Barn Benchmark 55 Handicap – 1400m

TOP BUTTON – raced wide throughout

STRONG TILL DAWN – jockey requested to view photo for 4th, after viewing the photo was satisfied with the judge’s placing’s and correct weight was declared.

ZEROCITY – was slow away and raced wide throughout
