RACE 1: Patlaw Security Maiden Plate - 950m
 
HIGHLY INFLUENTIAL – Laid in under pressure in the straight.
 
JACK ON THE ROCKS – Laid out under pressure over the concluding stages of the event.
 
ROCKYVIEW – Raced three wide without cover throughout the event.
 
SHEZROYAL – A post-race veterinary examination revealed small lacerations to near hind leg.
 
SUMMER LEA – In the vicinity of the 700m shifted in making contact with the running rail resulting in the mare becoming awkward in its stride for a short distance. Laid in under pressure in the home straight and in the vicinity of the 100m became awkwardly placed on the heels of JACK ON THE ROCKS and had to be restrained.
 
OUR GIRL TAMIYA – Jumped away awkwardly and shifted in abruptly.
 
RACE 2: St Brendans Old Boys Foundation Open Handicap - 950m
 
THE MECHANIC – Raced three wide without cover throughout the event. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.
 
STELLAR KNIGHT – Slow to begin.
 
NICCO’S LASS – In the vicinity of the 700m was obliged to be restrained to avoid the heels of ARARRAC, which shifted in when insufficiently clear. C McIver rider of ARARRAC was reminded of his obligation to be clear when allowing his mounts to shift ground in future.
 
POETIC DRAGON – Laid in under pressure in the straight.
 
MALKARA – Laid in under pressure in the straight.
 
ISIS MAGIC - Was declared a late scratching at 7.50am by order of the stewards due to no available rider.
 
ROSINCA - Was declared a late scratching at 7.50am by order of the stewards due to no available rider.
 
RACE 3: Regal’s Dental Class Plate - 1100m
 
TRUE MYTH – Rider reported that her mount laid in during the early stages of the event and in the vicinity of the 600m shifted in contacting the running rail. Rider was reminded of her obligations to ride her mounts out to the finish.
 
DEBBIE’S DREAM – Underwent a prerace veterinary examination after not racing in the past 12 months and was passed fit to start. Jumped away awkwardly.
 
RACE 4: G.J Gardner Homes Yeppoon QTIS Three-Years-Old Maiden Handicap - 1200m
 
BRAHMINY – Was a late scratching at 8.47am after displaying signs of respiratory distress. Trainer J Rundle was advised that a veterinary clearance would be required prior to next start.
 
HE’S SO VIVACIOUS – Raced three wide without cover throughout the event.
 
LA REMINISTA – Laid in under pressure in the home straight. Rider pleaded guilty to a charge under AR208(2)(b) for failing to weigh in following the running of race 4, as directed by the stewards to do so, and was fined $100.
 
ATTARD – Jumped away awkwardly and shifted in abruptly.
 
LITTLE SID – Severely hampered on jumping away and as a result was slow into stride. In the vicinity of the 700m had to be restrained after improving onto heels.
 
VAMPARINA – Was declared a late scratching at 7.50am by order of the stewards due to no available rider.
 
ROCKY ROWEL - Was declared a late scratching at 7.50am by order of the stewards due to no available rider.
 
RACE 5: Star Liquor Railway Hotel Benchmark 55 Handicap - 1300m
 
FLAT TO STACK – Slow to begin. Laid in under pressure in the straight.
 
ZATORIO – Was declared a late scratching at 7.50am by order of the stewards due to no available rider.
 
REIGNING THUNDER – Race three wide without cover throughout the event.
 
A LITTLEBITTAMAGIC – Overraced in the early and middle stages of the event.
 
POETIC SHOW – Slow to begin.
