Began awkwardly, lost ground and then steadied when tightened for room. Carried wider near the 1400m. Weakened from the 400m. Rdr reported gelding didn’t appreciate racing on the synthetic surface. A post-race vet exam revealed no apparent abs. Tnr rep advised gelding would have to perform to satisfaction of Stewards in Official trial prior to next racing.
