Held up from 600m until after 400m & when attempting to shift out, was unable to & again held up for sev strides before shifting back in near 300m to obtain clear run. Rdr explained mare settled rear & about 700m, held position, rather than shifting 4 wide & making run then-said mount then held up when weakening horse caused interference to runners in front, so elected to follow runner towards inside which was travelling well, hoping run would appear on straightening-attempted to shift to out on straightening, but shifted in for clear run. Vet exam found lame o/fore Vet Cert req.
