J. Bayliss was asked to comment on the horse’s performance, which was below market expectations. He indicated that after working hard to obtain a position outside the lead the horse travelled comfortably, however failed to respond to his riding and was very disappointing in the home straight. He felt that the horse handled the rain-affected conditions, however he was disappointed in the overall performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
