Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. Rider advised that, in his opinion, his mount did not appreciate the firmer racing surface. Trainer advised that the stable were disappointed with the performance with the gelding working well leading into the event. Trainer advised further it would be the intention to have the gelding undergo a veterinary examination inclusive of an endoscopic examination in the coming days and undertook to advise should anything become apparent.
