B/Awk. When quest re tactics, when some distance off main body of field in 1st 400m & vigour from 500m to w/post, Rdr instructed to be positive with Blks & t/tie on 1st up new stable. Said horse did not respond to urgings to be closer to main body of field, which thought horse resented t/tie-added responded to riding somewhat from 700m & round h/turn & in home straight horse had tendency to lay in at various stages & became awkwardly placed at heels near 150m. Tnr intends to remove t/tie. Ride referred to RQ training dept.
