When questioned re leading, Rdr stated instructed to ride horse in a forward position as this had been instructions at gelding’s most recent starts, however; over shorter distances, it had been unable to do so after being slow to begin-added over the more favourable distance of 1600m, gelding was able to find the lead more easily.
