Bumped at the start. Fell near the 300m. Initial evidence was taken from T. Clark ( STARS OF CARRUM), T. Berry (NOBU) and M. McGillivray (GRAND BOUQUET), but as rider C. Brown had been transported to hospital, the inquiry was adjourned to a later date to allow jockey Brown to be present. The veterinary surgeon reported that the mare sustained a major fracture to the near hind leg and was euthanased on humane grounds.
