Jumped awkwardly, made contact with the barrier partition, hampered by another runner and lost ground. Disappointed for a run approaching the 150m and shifted out to obtain clear running. Rider A. Fancourt reported that after receiving a heavy bump at the start the mare failed to respond and proved disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

After arriving on course late due to transport difficulties, the horse was inspected by the veterinary surgeon and cleared to race. Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and hampered IN ANY CASE. Hung out throughout and proved difficult to ride. Trainer B. Gorman advised that the horse returned to the enclosure with its tongue over the bit. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.
