Laid out approaching the 400m, bumped the hind quarters of MR STRACHAN and became unbalanced. The veterinary surgeon reported that the horse bled from both nostrils. As this was the first occasion on which the gelding has bled, it will be ineligible to race for 3 months and prior to resuming racing must gallop satisfactorily over 1000m in the presence of a steward.
