Jockey A. Fancourt reported her mount overraced badly in the early stages and had to be checked from heels near the 1200m. She advised that, in her opinion, the filly would benefit from the removal of blinkers. Jockey Fancourt also stated that the horse got its tongue over the bit at times during the event and recommended to connections to experiment with the use of a tongue-tie prior to its next race start.
