Jockey J. Lloyd reported his mount, which finished a distant last, hung out for the majority of the race. A post race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be suffering from cardiac arrhythmia. Trainer T. Edmonds was advised that the gelding must undergo an ECG, provide a veterinary clearance, and must trial satisfactorily prior to its next race start.
