Overraced when being restrained to obtain cover in the early stages. Jockey J. Orman commented to stewards he was disappointed with the overall performance of his mount. He stated that despite overracing in the early stages the horse travelled comfortably after obtaining cover approaching the 900m, however was disappointing after obtaining clear running shortly after entering the straight. Returned to scale without its near hind plate.
