Shifted wider on the track after passing the 1600m, improved in a three-wide position and settled outside the lead passing the 800m. Stewards asked rider R. Fradd to comment on the horse’s performance and his tactics. He stated that he had been instructed to ride in a more forward position and when the filly began poorly he waited until the field settled before allowing the horse to stride forward
