Mr. Fraser advised that the horse had performed well at its last start at Dalby, and he was shocked the horse was such a wide price in early markets. Mr. Fraser added that he had expected a forward showing from the gelding based on its most recent start, and advised Stewards that he had placed a wager on the horse to be successful tonight. Stewards noted the explanation.

Mr. Nolan advised that his instructions have always been for the horse to lead, and he indicated that he was surprised that the horse settled further back in the field during its last start. Mr. Nolan added that the mare did lead two starts ago and during previous events. Stewards noted the explanation.
