When questioned re pace of the race being slackened from the 1000m to the 800m, Rdr stated after beginning well, was able to cross and obtain a leading position-added mount raced keen early and from a position passing the 1000m, commenced to restrain & given the lead obtained on the field, was able to do this gradually. Tnr indicated now likely intention to send colt for a spell.

When questioned re the pace of the race being slackened from the 900m, Rdr stated mount is not a usual leader and after another runner commenced to be restrained from that point, elected to ride mount where comfortable to the outside of that horse, rather than continuing to ride forward which is outside the mare’s usual racing pattern.
