When questioned, rider explained she was asked to come out neutral on the filly and settle behind the speed, as at previous starts, the filly had raced too keenly in the early stages. She said the filly was fractious in the gates, began awkwardly and settled at the rear of the field. She said that she did not wish to apply too much pressure in the early stages, as she was concerned that may again over race. She added that her mount was inclined to lay out rounding the home turn, however, once balanced finished of well.
