When asked to comment on the performance Trainer advised that, the gelding had derived a significant fitness benefit from its first run in this prep and had matured since returning from a spell, with the stable expecting an improved showing.

Underwent a post-race veterinary examination which failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. Jockey L Tilley advised that, in his opinion, his mount had not handled the firmer track conditions. Trainer advised subsequently that the mare had pulled up well but would be assess by the stable veterinarian in the coming days and undertook to advise should anything become apparent. Trainer added further that consideration would be given to a gear change and further spacing of the mares runs going forward.

Trainer advised that the gelding may not have appreciated the firmer track conditions. Trainer added further that after pulling up well on 5 January 2025, he would assess the gelding over the coming days and make a judgement as to whether to continue with the preparation.
