RQ requires all clubs wishing to make a charitable, benevolent, patriotic or special purpose expense to seek written approval from RQ (Control Body) prior to making such payments.

The Racing Act 2002 (Qld), Section 122 (2) (b), states a club that is or was a non-proprietary entity may apply amounts comprising its revenues and profits for a charitable, benevolent, patriotic or special purpose, if the application is under the relevant control body’s written approval obtained before the entity applies the amounts.

Applications should be made via Race Cube. RQ will process the application and notify you of the outcome of the application in due course.
