Queensland Off-The-Track proudly introduces Deziree Roos as a QOTT Acknowledged Retrainer.
Deziree has extensive experience in all aspects of the Thoroughbred industry, having worked in the field for over ten years, from breeding and sales preparation, to pre-training and riding trackwork. Deziree has also travelled the world and worked alongside some of the best horses and riders on the international circuit. An accomplished rider off the track, Deziree has won multiple State Championships across a range of disciplines including Equitation, Showjumping, Dressage and Eventing. She has been selected as a member of the Queensland team on a number of occasions for a multitude of disciplines.

To be able to train the horses in a new discipline and then train the riders on how to ride and continue their education so that they can understand and train more OTT’s - you can’t beat that”
Deziree is an Equestrian Australia Accredited Coach, a Pony Club Australia Level B Coach and an NCAS Level 1 Coach. She is heavily involved in Pony Club at all levels. Deziree is the Chief Instructor at Hervey Bay Pony Club where she thoroughly enjoys teaching children and educating riders with necessary horsemanship skills.
Deziree is experienced in transitioning horses into elite performance horses, pony club horses or enjoyable pleasure horses. Deziree has the ability to set solid foundations in her retraining to ensure each horse in her care excels into their off the track careers as safe and reliable riding horses.
