The Rockhampton Jockey Club has completed a significant infrastructure upgrade with the installation of inside and outside walking track rails and a spray unit.

Funded by the Asset Management (AM) program, this project totaled $204,000 ($98,000 for the inside rail and $106,000 for the outside rail and spray unit). Commenced in December 2023 and completed in March 2024, this enhancement has improved the training facilities, ensuring a safer and more efficient environment for both horses and trainers.
