The Redcliffe Harness Racing Club will shine brighter than ever with the installation of new broadcast lighting.

Funded through the Racing Infrastructure Fund, the $6 million project delivered new LED lighting and upgraded electrical infrastructure, enhancing broadcast quality for night racing.

The new lighting ensures safer trackwork during early morning hours and provides more uniform illumination across the track.

This state-of-the-art lighting highlights Queensland’s harness industry, which contributes $232 million to the state’s economy. The iconic ‘Triangle’ remains one of Queensland’s premier harness training and racing venues, hosting nearly 50% of the industry’s 302 annual race meetings.

The upgrade is particularly significant for the approximately 300 horses that trial or train at the venue weekly.
