Program Changes - Brisbane RC Abandonment - Saturday 24 February 2018

RQ confirms that following the abandonment of the of the Brisbane RC race meeting today Saturday 24 February & after consultation with the Australian Trainers Association, the following races has been added to subsequent race meetings in SEQ:

Tattersall’s RC @ Doomben – Saturday 3 March

• Benchmark 90 Handicap – 2000m, $70,000
• No Metro Wins Handicap – 1200m, $70,000

Sunshine Coast TC – Sunday 4 March

• QTIS 3YO Handicap – 1400m, $70,000 plus QTIS bonuses
• Class 6 Handicap – 1600m, $70,000
• Open Handicap – 1400m, $70,000

RQ has given consideration to the reprogramming of the other races which were lost as a consequence of the BRC abandonment but has determined that the SEQ programs in the ensuing week cater for all horses denied the opportunity to race at Doomben.  RQ will however adopt an aggressive approach to the division of races in the next 7-10 days should acceptance numbers deem it appropriate.
