RACE 1
ALWAYSMISSINGYOU (4) will be looking to beat the handicapper after scoring in a maiden on Monday at this track. She was able to secure the perfect trip on the leaders back and proved too good.
JADEZ (1) bumped into a nice horse last start and was well beaten there but held a clear second ahead of ALWAYSMISSINGYOU who she re-opposes in this race. Has options early.
UNCUT GEM (2) trialled up reasonably in a recent trial. They only ran moderate overall time but he did look to have a bit to give going to the line and will likely be better for that run.
SOOTY UNDER FIRE (6) was narrowly beaten last start at Marburg after finding the front.
SELECTIONS: ALWAYSMISSINGYOU (4), JADEZ (1), UNCUT GEM (2), SOOTY UNDER FIRE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: SOOTY UNDER FIRE (6) each way.
RACE 2
RIBEIRO (6) scored a very dominant maiden win last start and looks a horse with plenty of ability. Despite the wide gate he looks hardest to beat again in this race.
BOTTICELLI (5) ran third behind My Ultimate Mario and My Ultimate Luka last start after finding the pegs in the early stages. He was first up from a spell there and may have derived benefit from that run.
OGEDIE (3) found the front last start at Albion Park and was well beaten into third there albeit behind what does look quite a smart horse in Megs Boy. May look to adopt similar tactics in this race.
CEDAR CREEK FALLS (10) couldn’t reel them in last start in what was a dash to the line late. Draws poorly this time which makes things tougher but has the ability to figure.
SELECTIONS: RIBEIRO (6), BOTTICELLI (5), OGEDIE (3), CEDAR CREEK FALLS (10)
SUGGESTED BET: RIBEIRO (6) to win.

RACE 3
MUFASA BART (5) made no impression last start when attempting to run on late down the outside behind Cheddar Made Beta. His best is certainly good enough for these but his form can fluctuate and from the wide gate he may need to work at some stage.
MELTON INSULTED (6) was narrowly beaten last start at Albion Park after obtaining the leaders back trail. Draws a wide gate this time which makes things significantly tougher.
MONTEREY JACK (9) got a long way back in the run last start and was well beaten despite making some late inroads.
DIAMOND DEANO (3) returns from a spell in this race and is certainly capable on his day. If he could find the front he’d taking catching.
SELECTIONS: MUFASA BART (5), MELTON INSULTED (6), MONTEREY JACK (9), DIAMOND DEANO (3)
SUGGESTED BET: MUFASA BART (5) to win.
RACE 4
JIMMY BLING (7) should get a good run through at the start on the back of a horse that generally likes to hold the lead. Has been racing without luck in recent outings and should be hard to beat.
GOTTA DREAM (1) looks the leader from the good gate in this race. He generally does his best work out in front when able to lead in his races. He ran on strongly late last start into second.
MARKSMAN (5) did all the work last start and proved too good for them opening up for a big win. Likely to find this tougher but should be competitive again.
RESERVE BANK (8) returns from a spell in this race after breaking through for a maiden win last time in. She performed well in a recent trial when running on strongly late.
SELECTIONS: JIMMY BLING (7), GOTTA DREAM (1), MARKSMAN (5), RESERVE BANK (8)
SUGGESTED BET: JIMMY BLING (7) to win.
RACE 5
MAYWYN TROUBADOR (5) ran well last start against much stronger opposition in Docta Feelgood and Call Me Keith. Despite the wide draw he looks the clear class runner and hardest to beat in this race.
CELESTINE (1) worked extremely hard to find the front last start and was entitled to tire late. If she is able to obtain an easier lead this time she is likely to prove hard to catch.
LA SABINA (7) should get a good run through on the back of a gate speed horse. Ran third last start after racing on the pegs over the 2040 at this track.
LIMOUSINE CHEEKY (9) was held up for a clear run last start appearing to have a bit to give.
SELECTIONS: MAYWYN TROUBADOR (5), CELESTINE (1), LA SABINA (7), LIMOUSINE CHEEKY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MAYWYN TROUBADOR (5) to win.
RACE 6
ESTER RISING (1) hit the line strongly from a long way back last start at this track when first up for the new stable. Draws the inside and likely has the gate speed to dictate in the early stages.
SKYGIRL (5) scored a strong win last start when overpowering Arnold Street late. If she can get up on speed she will be hard to beat again.
SHACKOUTTHEBACK (8) wasn’t beaten far behind Joans Rising Star last start. Won’t need to do any work in the early stages.
ACHROMATIC (6) ran a good second last start in what was a stronger race. She may struggle to find her favoured position up on the speed in this race with a few horses in this race likely to want that position.
SELECTIONS: ESTER RISING (1), SKYGIRL (5), SHACKOUTTHEBACK (8), ACHROMATIC (6)
SUGGESTED BET: SHACKOUTTHEBACK (8) to win.
RACE 7
BORELLA (2) is a horse with plenty of gate speed and a low draw. He looks the likely leader and from there should prove hard to catch. He worked too hard first up and was entitled to tire late.
COPPERFIELD (8) drops in grade into this race having taken on stronger races in recent starts including an 8th behind Jamaican Rock last start. Draws favourably following the likely leader.
CALL ME KEITH (4) is a gate speed horse that followed the leader last start and was just beaten by a horse with momentum down the outside last start. Draws awkwardly but has the ability to figure if he gets the right run.
LORD MEMNOCK (1) has a favourable draw in this race. He isn’t a horse that possesses much gate speed which could mean he is shuffled back early.
SELECTIONS: BORELLA (2), COPPERFIELD (8), CALL ME KEITH (4), LORD MEMNOCK (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BORELLA (2) to win.
RACE 8
TEACHERS PET (1) ran on strongly last start in a solid mile rate for the grade. She has a very good record leading and should she get things on her terms in this race is likely to prove hard to catch.
WAR CLUB (7) ran on powerfully in the concluding stages last start after getting too far back in the run. Looks likely to get a good run through in the early stages.
STUDLEIGH MARK (8) appears well graded in this race having taken on stronger company in recent outings. Draws to get a reasonable run through early.
BADLANDER (9) got a long way back last start in a race that nothing made a huge amount of ground in the concluding stages.
SELECTIONS: TEACHERS PET (1), WAR CLUB (7), STUDLEIGH MARK (8), BADLANDER (9)
SUGGESTED BET: WAR CLUB (7) to win.
