The team at Puntersland have cast their eyes over last week’s heats and have highlighted the greyhounds that stamped themselves as key contenders to claim Australia’s richest maiden series.

Hara’s Stevo will take improvement from his debut run. He began quickly but unfortunately weakened in the run home to finish second. Early speed is a blessing and this guy possesses it in abundance.

Joker Joker finished second in her heat to Femme Folle in a time of 30.80. She flew the lids but unfortunately ran wide in the first turn. She’s a chance at odds if she can control her speed early.

Give It Some was checked several times during her heat so to finish third and just a length off the winner was a good effort. She can certainly improve off that run.
