Racing Queensland has thanked the Bundaberg community for responding to a public meeting invitation at the Bundaberg Greyhound Racing Club on Sunday.
Racing Queensland has released the 2018/19 greyhound racing calendar which confirms the club will host 38 race meetings next financial year, in line with the current racing season.
Racing Queensland’s Greyhound Development Strategy Manager Adam Wallish said the meeting was positive and constructive.
“I want to thank all the people who attended this important meeting to discuss a roadmap for the future of greyhound racing in the region.
“There are some financial and other challenges ahead for the club but also many opportunities.
“It was great to see so much passion in the room. RQ is looking forward to helping develop a plan for the future of the club.
