RACE ONE

JUSTABITLIKEMUM (3) was away safely last start and had the job of leading the chasing pack behind the tear-away leader. Chasing valiantly she held the silver with only SOUTHERN ALPS getting past her. The chase will be on again and she can take the prize this time.

MY PRECIOUS YANKEE (1) stepped cleanly last start and tried to pinch it by getting clear and making the field chase all the way but he couldn’t quite see it out, beaten 5m into 3^rd. He will strip fitter for the run which was just his 2^nd run back from a break and will be gripping on.

ASTRAL RULER (7) took on a stronger event last start and from the pocket trail held on for the bronze when 4m from the winner SPUD. He finished hard from well back to score 3 starts back and will be running home hard.

NORTHERN MUSCLE (8) claimed 2^nd in the same race where ASTRAL RULER was 3^rd after doing all the work to get forward to the breeze. Forget his run 2 back when making an error, he has claims here.

RACE TWO

JUSTALITTLE TORQUE (1) went to the pegs for a cheap run and worked home in good order in the Triad final behind AQUA MISS last start to finish mid-field. Too far back in the run 2 starts back she has the options from this gate and looks to get every chance.

DARBY BRIGHTS (3) has been top 3 in all of her 6 starts this term and resumes here off a freshen after bypassing the Triad’s. From the pocket trail she was beaten a head behind RED CHARMER 2 starts back and last start was strong to the line after working hard in the run. She is a threat here.

NOTMUCHUPTOP (2) made the most of gate 2 here 5 starts back to go straight to the front and take them all the way. A Marburg win followed and his past 3 have been tidy efforts from tricky gates. Going forward he can challenge.

SNAKES N LADDERS (8) will strip fitter following his run at Marburg last start when returning from a break. With a cosy trip here he can take the shortcuts to fill the exotic numbers.

RACE THREE

SOMWHEREOVARAINBOW (6) is progressing nicely through the season and has been in the money at 6 of 8 outings. A good winner 2 starts back when wide to the breeze and then pulling away from them in the stretch, his 3^rd last start was a good effort at his 1^st run over the 2138m. He looks to have the edge here.

STYLISH FEELING (1) will strip fitter for her return to the track in the 4YO mares Triad Final when 1^st up in 10 weeks. At her last run before going for a break she was beaten a nose when using the passing lane and with the options from the ace gate gets her chance to challenge.

PHOTOZEN (9) settled in the running line last start but couldn’t make any ground in the later stages when 7m from GETOUTNWALK. That followed a good win from the 2^nd line and with a nice trail through early, will be in the mix.

MAYTHEHORSEBWITHU (4) will be tightened following his return from a break when closing out nicely behind COREY WILLIAM. A stylish Redcliffe winner 2 starts back he is right in the mix.

RACE FOUR

LEVI JADE (9) used the passing lane to when they only sprinted the last 200m to be 12m from MONIVAE in a 2^nd division qualifier. From the gate he can good a good trail through and in a race where a few of these might be gasping at the end of the 2138m trip he can sneak away with the win.

WHAT A FLIGHT (1) makes her AP debut here and will be tightened from her last start at Marburg when resuming from a break. A Redcliffe winner 5 starts back she can look to secure a good run in transit here and issue a late challenge.
 
FLASHING GOOD TIME (8) hit the line in good order last start when mid-field yet only 6m from the winner behind SOLDIER OF FORTUNE. With a cosy trip here she can look to close out when the gaps open.

ITS ALL TORQUE (5) was a winner here 5 starts back over the 1660m from the pocket trail and sprinting clear once the gap opened. In a tricky contest compounded by the 2138m trip, he is in the mix.

RACE FIVE

INVINCIBLE LOXTON (9) pressed ahead from gate 5 over the mile last start and bullied his way to the front. Once in control he was never in danger and put them away through a 27.6 closer. A tough winner from the breeze 3 starts back when sent forward from gate 7 he will be running on late here and can power over the top.

POMPIDOU (6) has started 3 time since returning from a break and will be fitter for his latest run when working forward to the breeze over the 2138m and fading late behind BUNDABURRA. Beaten 4m 2 starts back behind A GOOD CHANCE, he can put himself in the fight here and has claims.

MY MASTERCRAFTSMAN (7) has the tricky gate to negotiate but with even luck in transit is in the mix here. A good Redcliffe winner 2 starts back he was luckless last start behind a tiring leader.
MACHEASY (4) will be 1^st up from a break and will improve on whatever he can achieve here. Looking to take them all the way last start in a qualifier he was grabbed late and beaten a nose and is an exotic chance in this.

RACE SIX

ROCK WITH SAM (9) has the tricky gate to overcome here but should be able to push through in the early stages behind a good beginner. He worked hard last start in a Rising Stars Final when cutting the breeze to keep COLT THIRTY ONE wide. That followed 3 successive wins and he can bounce back.

SUBTLE DELIGHT (7) lands his customary wide gate and has been no closer than gate 5 at his past 13 starts. He was making good closing ground in the Triad Final last start behind the talented CLINTAL DO. His 3^rd behind MARETTI 2 starts back had merit and with even luck he can challenge here.

WHISKEY BLAZE (2) closed out strongly from a 2^nd line gate 2 starts back to get within 2m of the winner MACH SAM. Starting fav last start from gate 11 he finished best for a classy win and with good early speed can look to dictate.

GRINVIL (10) is racing well since arriving in Qld and last start took on open company from the stand start and worked home well when 12m from the winner ALLELUIA. That followed a tidy 6m 2^nd to MARETTI that puts her in the mix here.

RACE SEVEN

ARGYLE BEACH (3) found the line strongly to score a stylish win from gate 12 here 3 starts back. Off the same gate at her next start she ran home in sub 55 to get within 3m of the winner KEY LARGO and then last week on a wet track and horrible conditions faded late after cutting the breeze. She gets her chance to atone.

NONE BETTOR (5) worked home from running line cover in the same race as ARGYLE BEACH last week and went within a half-neck of the winner. He moves back to the front line after off gate 9 last start and can get forward here and throw down a challenge.

JANIES GOT A GUN (1) shoots for a hat-trick after successive Redcliffe victories over the 1780m trip when leading throughout in each. This is a step up but with the benefit of the ace gate she can look to dictate and will be gripping on.

BONNIE JUJON (2) held the early advantage before releasing ELENIARK in the 4YO mares Triad last start and then held on for a 10m 3^rd from the trail. With 2 wins and 2 placings in her past 5, she can feature in this.

RACE EIGHT

ROCKNROLL MUSIC (4) worked hard in the breeze last start in a qualifier and after a 27.4 opener, couldn’t maintain the rage in the closing stages when fading out. 3 starts back he pressed ahead from gate 6 and was strong to the line when 7 from SAMS A CHAMP. He can look to take control here and is up to this.
 
RED LUCK (3) started from the outside gate over the 2200 at Marburg last start and was off-stride on the 1^st turn and settled at the rear. Flashing home from back in the pack in the closing stages he was only beaten a half-neck. Only 5m from CIRCLE LINE 2 starts back, he can issue a challenge here.

MISTER ELEGANT (12) has the tough gate to overcome and will strip fitter from his return following a break when hitting the line well in a 2200m stand start at Redcliffe. 12m from MOJO MAJOR at his last run before going for a break, he is right in the mix in this line-up despite the gate.

YANKEE STRUTTER (5) struck trouble last start when finishing down the line behind SAMS A CHAMP. He hit the line well behind LIKEALLOFUS 2 starts back and can be closing out hard here.

RACE NINE

STIRLING WILLIAM (6) started from gate 6 last start and was working home strongly to get within 1.5m of the winner over this trip. Buried away from an inside 2^nd line gate 2 starts back, he has been consistent without being able to land a win. With some up-front pressure and a cart into the contest he can arrive for the win.

MAJOR KIWI (1) has appreciated a spell and returned in fine fettle and shoots for a hat-trick of victories. Last start he was tough to the line when facing the breeze over this trip and holding on for the win. He will need a slice of luck to see space when needed, but once clear will sprint hard.

LONG ROAD TO FAME (2) returns from a freshen after taking on a band 5 event last start and finishing down the line behind DON BOSTON. A good 3^rd to ANNIKA MAGIC 2 starts back at Redcliffe, he can look to fire the 1^st shot here and can go close.

MONARKMAC (11) will be looking to get a nice trail home and was hitting the line in good style last start when under 2m from the winner MAJOR KIWI. Never far away he has place hopes again.
