Form Analysis: Redcliffe February 5

RACE 1 

MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (1) draws ideally in this race in gate one. He has options in the early stages having chosen to take a trail on Betting Origin three starts ago when running a clear second. This looks easier and he should prove hard to beat. 

CAPTAINS PICK (9) zipped off the gate last start before taking a trail on Copperfield. He ran well there into the placings and this race looks slightly easier. Should be nearing peak fitness third up. 

DOCTA FEELGOOD (8) ran well in a recent trial behind Borella. He draws to have options in the early stages and should be thereabouts. 

OBI ONE (6) has drawn poorly in this race outside the front row. He was very good last start from the same draw in what appeared a slightly stronger race.

RACE 2 

MADAM WEST (7) ran on strongly last start in a similar race. Looks likely to get the perfect run through on the back of the leader and is likely to prove hard to beat again. 

THUNDAMENTAL (1) ran an impressive second two starts ago when leading and over racing. He backed that up last start with a good fourth and looks likely to get every chance again from the good draw. 

ENGLISH DANCE (2) ran on strongly last start into third. Draws more favourably in this race and should settle a lot closer. 

ACHROMATIC (3) took on a stronger race last start. She likes racing at the trip and should be thereabouts.

RACE 3

GELDOF (10) did the work last start at Albion park and faded late. This race appears similar and he may be better for the run last start. 

BERTILS FIREFOX (8) has been in very consistent form without being able to break through for a win. He will appreciate a solid tempo and can be running on strongly. 

FEELING THE POWER (4) has been impressive in his last two starts. He finished off strongly two runs ago before leading and running second last start. 

AQUA CRUISER (9) was able to find the lead last start at Albion Park and held on well to win.

RACE 4 

TACKAS LAST DANCE (2) draws outside of a horse that’s likely to go around longer odds. If she is able to find a prominent position she could prove hard to beat in this grade. 

MAJOR TRALEE (6) draws widest in this race but looks suited. He is likely to find this easier than some of his recent races and can go about things a number of ways. 

ROCKIN CHIKA (3) has brilliant gate speed which gives her options early. She trialled moderately recently. 

ROLLONX (5) has been racing in good form recently having scored a win three starts ago. 

SELECTIONS: TACKAS LAST DANCE (2), MAJOR TRALEE (6), ROCKIN CHIKA (3), ROLLONX (5)

SUGGESTED BET: TACKAS LAST DANCE (2) to win. 

RACE 5

HIGHVIEW SADLER (5) hit the line strongly last start from well back in the race for third. He draws the front row this time and may be able to push onto the lead which would see him hard to beat. 

MATAI REACTOR (9) is rarely far away in his race and looks to draw favourably in this race. Can be finishing off strong.

JILLIBY PANDA (2) has good gate speed and looks likely to be first to the pegs in this race. He worked too hard last start and was entitled to tire late.

ALADDIN SANE (4) is a trotter taking on the pacers in this race. Wasn’t beaten far last start behind Hammer Son.

SUGGESTED BET: JILLIBY PANDA (2) each way. 

RACE 6 

LA SABINA (1) led last start in a strong race and wasn’t beaten far. This race looks a lot more suitable and she may get away with an easier lead in the early stages. 

TULHURST CUDDLES (7) was able to score last start after securing the leaders back trail. If she can muster enough speed early she can secure a similar run. 

EMMALEEN (3) is rarely far away in her races. This looks another suitable race where she can be finishing off strong. 

ARTFUL MASTER (5) is a horse with high speed. Should he secure the right run he can be finishing off well.

RACE 7

SHEROCKSMYWORLD (1) raced well in her first run for the stable two starts ago at Albion Park. She was then able to win nicely at Redcliffe when finishing off best. The 2040 start point may allow her to drive through and lead this race. 

ART OF ROCK (7) was sent forward in the early stages last start and was able to lead. He didn’t finish it off there and has shown to be more potent when saved up for one run at them late which he appears to get the opportunity to do in this race. 

ABSOLUTELY STOKED (3) put in an impressive run last start to finish a close second behind Our Ultimate Luka. This race doesn’t appear any tougher and she has to go in with a good hope. 

TRAVELNFEELIN (8) ran third last start behind Our Ultimate Luka after securing a good run. He has won previously at this track. 

SELECTIONS: SHEROCKSMYWORLD (1), ART OF ROCK (7), ABSOLUTELY STOKED (3), TRAVELNFEELIN (8)

SUGGESTED BET: ART OF ROCK (7) to win. 

RACE 8

SHELL SHOCK (6) is a huge grade dropper in this race after taking on Miki Magic last start he drops back into restricted win company. Despite the wide draw all things being equal he looks the winner of this race. 

LAST CALL (9) took on a stronger field last start in a race won by the in form Nautie Galvinator. She appeared to have every chance there and didn’t quite finish it off over the 2040. She may appreciate the step back to the 1780 and drop in grade. 

PROSPECTUS (2) looks the early leader and has options from there. Looks a very good chance for her to run into the money again. 

JADES DIAMOND (5) scored a good win last start making up strong late ground to score.
