Kelly Schweida collected his first two-year-old win of the season when The Odyssey turned the tables on more fancied rival Guntantes to win the QTIS Two-Years-Old Handicap at Doomben.
Schweida's confidence in the Better Than Ready colt was evident in the betting markets with a late long-odds move proving spot on.
"His run was good the other day and he was strong through the line," Schweida said.
"He was going up another 100m today and he worked super on Tuesday."
The Odyssey bounced to an early lead for jockey Mark Du Plessis and was never headed, beating home the short-priced favourite Guntantes and David Vandyke first-starter Okeechobee.
