QLD Greyhound Calendar Changes Tuesday 12 February 2019

Racing Queensland advises that the Townsville Greyhound Racing Club meeting for Tuesday 12 February 2019 has been cancelled due to the state of the track. The Club and Racing Queensland will assess how to appropriately repair the track following the recent floods and advise participants of a likely timeframe to return to racing as soon as possible. Any return to racing will be dependent on the completion of a trial session and approval by Racing Queensland and QRIC officials.

Racing Queensland will offer a travel subsidy of $150 for any North QLD trainer (post code 4800 or higher) that races in Rockhampton on Wednesday 13 February 2019.

In order to cover the cancelled meeting in Townsville, Racing Queensland have made the following calendar adjustments:

• The Ipswich twilight meeting has been transferred to the night timeslot
• A new meeting at Capalaba has been added in the twilight timeslot

The program for the Capalaba meeting is as follows:

• Maiden 366m
• Novice 366m
• Masters 5^th Grade 366m
• Bitches 5^th Grade 366m
• Pathways 5^th Grade 366m
• Best 8 366m
• Graded races as required
