RACE TWO

IMA BIRUBI BOY (10) doesn’t get many favours from this gate yet he gets into this race on a big class drop. Freshened since his last outing, he has placed twice in 4 Qld starts. Not far from PINUP BOY 1^st up he was then only 4m from TROJAN BANNER after facing gate 6. This looks his chance to cash-in.

HAMMERHOFF (1) led them up from this gate last start and was able to steady the ship in the middle stages before being claimed late in the stretch. Still looking for his 1^st win of the season, he will take some benefit from his last outing and with the benefit of the ace will be gripping on.

TASCOTT LADY (8) was too far back from the 2^nd line last time out and couldn’t work into the race in the closing stages. Glued to the helmet of the 1, she will get the perfect trip and be ready to offer.

ROCKNROLL PROMISE (9) found the pegs before releasing in the early stages last start over the 2138m. That was a sharper effort than recent outings and looking for short-cuts here can place.

RACE THREE

SPORTSGIRL MYSTIC (1) is a 4YO daughter of Sportswriter on debut for the David Millard barn. The mare trialled in good order back in December and was then put away. Trialling at Marburg in nice order in readiness for her debut, she strikes a winnable race 1^st up and has the options.

NAUGHTYINHEAVEN (2) was buried away against the markers over the Redcliffe sprint trip 2 starts back and was hitting the line strongly when only 2m from the winner. Not suited over the 2138m last start, she couldn’t go with them late. Back to the mile and from this alley she can go close.

TORI MAY (4) resumes from a spell after making an error at her last outing. Arriving to claim a neck margin victory and break her maiden 3 starts back, she has podium claims and has trialled well.

ENARMOURED (8) was locked away on the pegs last start and followed the short-cuts to be 5m from the winner GRIZZLY MONTANA. She will enjoy a soft trip here and can chime in when the gaps arrive.

RACE FOUR

STAR OF MONTANA (1) makes his Qld debut and will be 1^st up in 12 months. Looking ready for a return back in October, he was put away again following an AP trial. A smart customer as a 2YO he competed against some smart performers at his past 2 starts. His latest trial was solid without being asked for much and he can make a winning start.

NIFTY STUDLEIGH (8) found the front last start over the mile and walked them through the middle 800m. Ramping the tempo to bring them home, he couldn’t see it out. A beaten fav in 2 of his 3 starts prior to that outing, he can look to enjoy a cosy trip here and be ready to take the last shot.

MADAMOISELLE JUJON (2) is yet to miss a top-3 in 4 career starts and from this gate should be able to find a nice position. Only 2m from the winner when wide off the track last start, she is in the mix.

CHANCELESS CENTURY (5) has been runner-up at his past 2 starts and is the veteran of just 3 career starts. He worked hard in the breeze last start and was still fighting late. He can feature here.

RACE FIVE

TIMELESS APPEAL (4) has claimed the silver at her past 2 starts with both of those run over this trip. Finding the front before releasing to LINCOLNS GIRL last start, she chased hard to be 1.5m from the winner. Setting a sizzling closing 800m 2 starts back from the front, she gets her chance to dictate.

MY ULTIMATE ROMEO (2) went to the front from this same alley last start and after securing a 62.4 opening 800m of the last mile hoisted the white flag to be a long last. Forgiven for that run and returning to the mile here, he can look to secure a soft run in transit to bounce back.

ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (12) found the 1x1 trail last start over the middle distance and when angled to the outside packed too many guns to cruise home to an easy win. Finding form, he can challenge.

STUDLEIGH SONNY (3) was forced to hang tough in the breeze last start and was digging in to finish 2m from ROCKNROLL CLASSIC. Luckless the start prior when buried away, he is in for the fight again.

RACE SIX

IM NORMA JEAN (3) settled in the running line from this gate last start over the mile and was sound to the line behind TENNYSON BROMAC. She has been facing some handy performers of late with her previous 2 behind PINUP BOY and TROJAN BANNER. Although the 2138m is not her best trip, she can get away with this.

CLASSIE AMERICAN (8) will take further benefit from his latest start when having his 3^rd Aus start with the runs well-spaced. 2 starts back he covered plenty of the Redcliffe triangle when 3-wide the last lap off gate 10 and only beaten a head. Too tough from gate 7 last start, he just needs some luck.

MAJOR CURRENCY (9) was able to find the pocket trail from gate 4 last start after doing plenty of work in a stinging first 1000m of the 2138m. Still boxing on when only beaten 4m, he will be in the mix here.

GOODTIME STRIDE (4) wasn’t suited last start when facing a 30m tape from the stand at Marburg. Taking on a strong mares race the start prior, she will be better suited here and has podium claims.

RACE SEVEN

ARK PATROL (1) was sent to the front from gate 6 last start over the 2138m trip and was setting a strong tempo. Fighting hard he was forced to play second-fiddle to PROFICIENT but the 4m margin back to 3^rd was encouraging. With the benefit of the gate he looks can take control here to score.

RECIPE FOR DREAMING (8) has been in the money at 7 of his past 10 starts with the latest a tough 3^rd in a 2^nd division qualifier. Sent to the breeze from the 2^nd line he was in for the fight when holding on for the bronze. Only 1m from the winner 2 starts back, he will be coiled and ready to strike.

GRIZZLY MONTANA (10) has managed to put it together and will line-up here in search of a hat-trick. He finished over the top for a nice win over the 2138m and will close hard here.

HUGHIES SISTER (2) was a surprise leader last start and was setting a solid tempo out in front and just faded the closing stages under the run. Settling close to the speed she can chime in late here.

RACE EIGHT

FAME ASSURED (7) isn’t afforded any favours from the gate here but she is a classy mare at her best and is up to the task. Sent to the front over the 2138m last start she was in cruise control to claim a 17m victory. That was her 1^st run in 7 weeks and tightened from that can prove too strong again.

CLARRY (5) was buried away in the run last start from inside the 2^nd line and when the gaps opened was charging home to get within 3.5m of the winner and claim the silver. The start prior he was wide off the track and attacking the line with venom when 3m in arrears and will be in the fight here.

MAKOA (11) started from gate 7 last start in an M0 contest and was snagged back to look for luck. Hitting the line in great order wide-out, he was only 5m from the winner. He will be swooping hard.

GREGS LEGACY (1) was angled to the pegs last start from gate 12 to look for luck that never arrived. Claiming 2^nd over the mile from the pocket trail 2 back, he will get the options here and can chime in.

RACE NINE

OUR MELS DREAM (10) couldn’t find position last start from gate 3 and was forced to retreat early before making a late move again wide out. In a sound effort he was still only 10m from the winner DIVAS DELIGHT. Luckless the start prior when probing for gaps, he can work home over the top here.

SURFACE TO AIR (2) has found some form and last start from gate 4 found the front when looking to take them all the way. Setting a solid tempo he was only collared in the closing stages with EPIRUS BOY who had the sit on him able to get past. He can take control here and will be gripping on.

CASINO TIMMY (12) took on a Sat night Band race last start and was buried away on the fence fro the 2^nd line with the closing splits set in front making it a challenge for the chasers. He can bob-up.

CHANTREY (11) resumes from a spell and will be 1^st up for 10 months. Last seen when proving too strong from the breeze over the mile, he has trialled twice and will take benefit from the run here.
