Racing Queensland advises nominations for the Group 1 Brisbane Cup Heats (520m) close on Friday 21 June 2019 at 9.30am.
The box draw for Albion Park Thursday 27 June 2019, including the heats of the Brisbane Cup, will now be conducted on Monday 24 June 2019; one day earlier than normal.
The change of box draw time allows early betting markets to be opened by bookmakers, increases the number of promotional opportunities, and gives more time for interstate trainers to plan their travel.
Nominations for all other events on 27 June 2019 will also close on Monday 24 June 2019 at 9.30am.
The Brisbane Cup is worth $250,000 to the winner. Click here for a full list of conditions.
