Racing Queensland confirms that following continued inclement weather QRIC stewards have deemed the racing surface at Oak Park unsafe to race on and accordingly have postponed the race meeting on Saturday 6 July.
The meeting has however been rescheduled and will now be run on Sunday 7 July.
The new race date aside, the remainder of the detail relative to the (now 10 race) meeting will remain identical with the same fields, race start times etc retained. Scratchings will however be reinstated. Accordingly, the revised detail pertaining to the race meeting is:
Oak Park TC
Sunday 7 July
10 Race Programme
First Race 10:20am, Last (10th) Race 4:20pm
QRIC stewards will closely monitor weather conditions over the next 24 hours, however it is hoped the inclement weather will dissipate thus enabling the rescheduled race meeting to proceed.
