Greyhound Calendar Changes for Christmas and New Year

Racing Queensland advises calendar changes for December 2019 and January 2020 due to the closure of the Townsville showgrounds for Christmas and New Year.

Townsville greyhounds will have their final meeting for the year on 17 December 2019, and resume on Friday 3 January 2020.

The full calendar changes are as follows:

Tuesday 24 December 2019

• Rockhampton will race at night in the Townsville timeslot.

Two feature finals have been moved to this meeting:

• Christmas Cup 510m (Open). Heats 18 December 2019.
• Christmas Gift 407m (4^th/5^th Grade). Postcode restricted to greyhounds domiciled from post code 4570 and north – transfers after 18 November 2019 not eligible. Heats 18 December 2019.

Tuesday 31 December 2019

• Rockhampton will race at night in the Townsville timeslot

Wednesday 1 January 2020

• Ipswich will race at night in the Rockhampton timeslot

Friday 3 January 2020

• Townsville will race in the twilight in the Ipswich timeslot
