Racing Queensland has advised the $300,000 track up-grade at Redcliffe Paceway is nearing completion with racing scheduled to resume later this month.
The remediation project includes a new base and surface, while the club has utilised the opportunity to replace the Colorbond fence in the back straight to help improve the venue’s aesthetics.
Training at the venue is expected to commence next week following trials – and sign-off from stewards - with racing scheduled to resume on Wednesday, October 16.
Accordingly, the race meeting scheduled at Redcliffe on October 9 has been cancelled – RQ will look to re-schedule this meeting with SKY – while the October 10 meeting will be transferred to Albion Park.
