RQ advises that the non-Tab race meetings scheduled for Saturday 15 February 2020 by both the Burdekin RC (Home Hill) and Innisfail TC have been ABANDONED.
Following consultation with the Queensland Racing Integrity Commission (QRIC) and the official race day veterinarians, the race meetings have been abandoned due to equine welfare concerns relating to the forecast weather temperatures (heat/humidity) on raceday.
RQ will liaise with the Burdekin RC regarding future possibilities to conduct a replacement race meeting.
A replacement non-Tab meeting has been scheduled for the Innisfail TC on Saturday 22 February 2020 and listed below is the race program:
