Racing Queensland confirms that the race meeting on Tuesday 14 April which was originally scheduled for Mackay TC has been transferred to Rockhampton JC.
The transfer has been made to accommodate a minor track refurbishment at Mackay TC, leading into the club’s next race meeting on Tuesday 28 April.
The change has also resulted in the amendment of two races on the now Rockhampton JC program. These are:
Horses which have thus far been nominated for the race meeting (when programed for Mackay TC) are eligible to retain that nomination i.e. there is not a requirement to nominate again for Rockhampton JC.
Those trainers however who wish to withdraw nominations for horses as a consequence of the transfer are able to do so, and there will be no fees applicable to such withdrawals.
RQ further advises that nominations for the race meeting will now be extended to 9:00am, Tuesday 7 April.
