RACE TWO
LETTUCEFIRESTAR (2) pounced on the pegs from this gate last start over this trip. With the early speed, he will be lighting the lamps and can dictate terms. RED CHARMER (1) settled in the pocket trail last start from inside the 2nd line over this trip against her own sex and with the leader stalling prior to the turn, she just didn’t hit the passing lane with enough momentum when 4th to DEMETER. She can be ready to take the closing shot in this. SAM IS PERFECTION (3) settled in the running line from gate 2 last start in a junior driver race and when given his cues, put them away and burst clear to score a 12m victory. He won’t be far away here. SOME EXCUSESOMEWHERE (8) led them up last start and was fighting hard when gunned down in the closing stages behind FEELINGFORARAINBOW. If he can settle in on the pegs, he can be chiming in. SELECTIONS: LETTUCEFIRESTAR (2), RED CHARMER (1), SAM IS PERFECTION (3), SOME EXCUSESOMEWHERE (8) SUGGESTED BET: LETTUCEFIRESTAR (2) to win
RACE THREE BIG BANG LEONARD (2) should appreciate the good gate here after landing gate 7 here on Tuesday. COREY WILLIAM (9) sat in the 1x1 last start after following through from the 2nd line to find position. With the leader MAFUTA VAUTIN left vulnerable following the opening panel costing a sub 27 stinger, he cruised up the in the stretch to claim the prize. With a similar trip, he can repeat. Only a head away the start prior, he will be awaiting orders to take the snipers shot in the stretch. HEZA BROMAC (2) will appreciate an improved barrier after landing outside the front line at his past 2 in succession. Unable to find position last start, he was snagged back to the rear which had followed a tidy effort behind THE MONEY BALL. Settling close to the speed, he will be in for the fight. CELTIC CRUZA (1) was a winner over the mile here 3 starts back when pressing forward to take control from gate 4. Once in front, he fought them off to claim the prize. Beaten by the barrier his past 2, this looks his chance to cash-in. COOL SCOOTER (10) set the tempo last start when finding the front over this trip, wilting late when the power went on in the 3rd panel. Only a half-neck away the start prior, he has podium claims.

RACE FIVE
This looks a good qualifier with a few winning hopes set to do battle over the middle distance. BLUE MOON RISING (1) found ideal conditions at Redcliffe last start, taking the trail from gate 1 and then sprinting sharply to take the prize. Not suited from gate 6 the start prior, he can settle in the trail again here and when the passing lane presents, look to repeat his last start performance. CONVAIR HUSTLER (2) fired out to take control over this trip last start and once taking up the lamp lighting duties, held on to claim victory by 1m. Too far back when retreating the start prior, he should be further tightened following 3 runs back from a spell. He will be fighting hard. ULTIMATE AD (4) has been in great touch since joining the Ryan Veivers yard and will search for his 4th successive victory here. Sent to the front last start from gate 4 over the mile, he had too many bullets to fire when claiming a 3m victory. He will be duking it out here. RACE SIX This shapes as a tricky little contest with the early pressure and tempo sure to have a big impact on the finishing order. SOLE AMBITION (4) made the most of finding the front here 2 starts back and after being allowed to walk the opening half, held on to score. Unable to find position last start, he wasn’t in the mix behind INVINCIBLE LOXTON. He can bounce back. THREE MUGS IN (1) set the tempo over the Redcliffe sprint trip on Monday, setting a slick closing 800m in front to score a smart 4m victory. Beaten by gate 6 the start prior, the gate is a big bonus here and with the early options, he will get his chance to capitalise. MIDNIGHT MAN (3) speared out from gate 2 here 3 starts back over this trip and once in front had too many answers for the question asked of him in scoring a 2m victory. Closing in good order last start, he can throw it down from this gate. With the right trip, she can make the closing shot a winning one. KOTARE ELITE (1) is yet to taste victory since arriving in Aus but she has been right in the mix in recent outings with placings in 4 of her past 5 starts. Gunned down late by ULTIMATE AD in a junior driver race last start, she was tough in the breeze when holding on for 2nd here 2 starts back. From the gate, she will be fighting. DE VOYAGE (3) rolled forward early last start over the 2138m prior to releasing for the trail. Chasing hard to hold 2nd to BLACKJACK BART, the return to mares company is in her favour.
OUR DELIGHT (9) took on the mares Triad Final last start from the 2nd line and didn’t have much go her way and could have been closer with a smoother passage. Only 2m away here 3 starts back in a similar contest to this form gate 7, she can make a play.

WITH AUTHORITY (5) has placed at his past 2 outings in similar type events, the latest when using the passing lane here on Tues to grab the silver behind the dictating MAFUTA VAUTIN. That followed a tough 4th when 2m in arrears and despite the tough gate, can out-tough them again. TULHURST ACE (4) appreciated the return to mid-week company last start, settling back in the pack prior to sweeping home in nice style to claim victory over this trip. Only 2m in arrears the start prior in a similar race to this, he can settle close and look to take the closing shot once again. RACE TEN The small field could turn this race into a tactical battle. With the benefit of a game 2nd in the 2647m Flashing Red last start, COLT THIRTY ONE (6) will strip fitter for the outing and can look to extend his superb record here at The Creek. Working home strongly from the 20m impost at the stand last start, he might need to do some work, but is up to the task. GLENFERRIE HOOD (4) really caught the eye last start in the Flashing Red when attacking the line strongly from back in the pack to be 3m from the winner TENNYSON BROMAC. With no lead for him the start prior, he raced in the trail after setting up the 26.5 opener when 3rd to the swooping HECTORJAYJAY. Back to the mobile mile suits and he will give them something to chase. MAJOR CAM (5) was buried and looking for room in the small field last start when sighting a gap late and grabbing the silver behind Hector. A winner his previous 3 starts, he might just be able to tuck in and make the closing shot a winning one.

RACE ELEVEN OUR OVERANOVA (6) broke through last start in scoring his 48th victory at The Creek and move to outright 2nd for the most wins at the Albion Park track. Finishing over the top to claim victory over the 2647m stand, it was a smart win. With a great record at these conditions, he can go back-to-back. GARLAND GREENE (2) shoots for the hat-trick after successive wins from the tapes, both when leading throughout. Stepping straight to the front last time over the 2138m, it was a strong opening half and then it was dialled up the closing 800m in taking a 5m victory. Winless at the mobile, he can look to change that here. SPRINGBANK EDEN (5) pressed forward from his 10m tape last start to light the lamps and was in for the fight when 2m from OUR OVERANOVA. That was nice improvement from recent outings and building off that has claims here. JUSTABITNOISY (8) will have some early options as the lone 2nd line runner
