JEWEL OF PEAK (2) wasn’t entirely comfortable in the early stages last week and when she eventually worked to the front, kept them rolling over the 2040m. Holding on for the silver, she will appreciate the return to the sprint trip and from this gate can look for an all the way victory.

CALLMEDEMARO (6) has been runner-up at his past 2 starts, the latest when gunned down in the closing strides to be 1m in arrears of the win. Doing it the tough way the start prior over the AP 2138m, he was in for the fight when only 2m from the winner ARK ME. He can throw it down here.

JACKS GAMBIT (1) was a winner here 2 starts back when taking control from gate 1 and keeping them chasing to hold a 2m victory. Luckless last start when retreating from gate 5, the gate helps.

RACE THREE

BE ON THE SLY (4) has been kept fresh since his last appearance when down the line behind the handy BOMBADIER JUJON. 3 starts back he was able to hustle through to take control and led throughout, posting a 16m winning margin. In a wide-open contest, he can bob-up fresh.

ALL GOOD WALLY (8) started from this same gate last start when settling in the running line and chiming in late to be 5m in arrears of the winner in claiming the bronze. Finishing over the top of them here 4 starts back, with the right run in transit, he can make a swooping shot.

PATCHWORK JET (2) was locked away from inside the 2^nd line last start and never really had a decent shot at them. Holding running line position, look for him trying to make a closing play.

RANCHO MAN (1) will take some benefit from his latest offering when resuming from a break. Having an early look, he eased for the 1x1 trail when not too far away. The gate is a big plus here.

RACE FOUR

BET IM SPECIAL (7) will be needing some factors in his favour but he is racing well enough to claim this if things can go his way. Making the most of gate 1 last start, he took them all the way in scoring in smart time for the 1780m. Bumping into the smart STREET APPEAL the start prior, he just needs the gap in time.

ASHKII (4) started from this same gate last start and was eased to find the running line with the speed drawn inside. Settling at the rear of the pack he was making a 3-wide move when making a diving play to grab the silver behind VALOROSO HANOVER. He won’t be far away again here.

OCEANS PREDATOR (1) has been struggling to recapture his best, however his latest start when wide off the track was encouraging. With the big benefit of the ace gate, look for him to be an improver.

BEACH GODDESS (5) snagged back from gate 5 over the AP 2138m last start and was a long way back when probing for gaps. A tidy run under the circumstances, she can be chiming in here.

SIXPENNY RED (2) is in great touch and will shoot for the hat-trick of victories here on the triangle after winning successive outings over this trip. Pressing to the front from gate 4 last start, she had bullets to fire in the stretch in claiming a 7m victory. From this gate the threepeat looks achievable.

ELZBOY (3) was locked away on the pegs here 3 starts back from inside the 2^nd line when weaving a passage to grab the silver. Forget his run 2 starts back when he was not suited over the AP 2138m and wilted late. Bouncing back over the mile, he arrived to claim a new career PB and can challenge here.

SHADYS DELIGHT (5) has been racing in nice touch such going around in a Trot Rods event here and has placed in 2 of his past 3 starts. 2^nd to the smart SOHO TSUNAMI 2 starts back, he can feature.

COUNTRY RUN (7) found the front here 2 starts back and once in control was never in danger when scoring a 10m victory. Grinding it out in the breeze last start and holding on for 3^rd, he will be probing here.

NON PASSARE (2) should find this a shade easier than his latest appearance when down the line over the AP mile behind LIVING GRAND in a sub 54 run. Settling closer to the rear from gate 3 here 2 starts back, he could not work into it. With the chance to fire the opening shot, he can look to dictate.

ROWDYS ACE (1) found them far too slick last start when well beaten behind a power running WILL THE WIZARD who scored in 1.52.4. Beaten here 2 starts back by gate 5 when retreating off the arm, the improved gate is a huge advantage and with the early options can change his recent fortunes.

PITTSWORTH MAN (7) isn’t far away from a victory in the right race and will be coiled and waiting the gaps here. Sound to the line last start behind MISSINMEMATE, he will be probing here.

RED TERROR (4) was back in the field from gate 2 last start and worked home in nice order to grab the bronze when only 5m in arrears of the dictating FRENCH GLOBE. He can be chiming in here.

WILD ABOUT TOWN (8) met a stronger line-up over the AP mile 2 starts back where he was forced to do it hard in the run and wilted late under the pressure. Back to the triangle last start he took the trail from gate 1 and was 3m in arrears via the passing lane to grab the silver. He can challenge.

BARBOO (4) was angled to the pegs last start to take the short-cuts when 7m from the winner GWENDALION. Easing from gate 5 the start prior and closing well, he can be thereabouts in this.

THANKHEAVNFORGIRLS (7) will be needing a slice of luck in this but if some factors happen to go her way, she can be closing late. Runner-up here 2 starts back, she can be chiming in.

MALIBU DREAM (7) worked forward from gate 2 to take control over the sprint trip last start and once in control had enough in reserve to claim a narrow victory. 2^nd up from a break, she will be further tightened with her return run a tidy effort behind HAVING THE FAITH. Securing a rub of the green, she is worth a chance.

GO ANNE GO (2) found the front from gate 3 last start prior to releasing for the trail and chased gamely too hold the silver behind MALIBU DREAM. That was her 1^st outing following a stable switch and with the good gate can be firing the 1^st shot again here.

MODERN THOUGHT (1) lands her best gate for some time and can look to capitalise on the advantage. Locked away at her past 2 from inside the 2^nd line, she can settle closer to feature.

IFYOUBELIEVE (4) ran his consistent race last start to place 2^nd when 2m in arrears of the winner. Continually in the money, he can settle handy again and look to continue his place streak.

REDDY FIRE (3) is yet to taste the spoils of victory in 2020, however he might have found the right conditions to change that. Fading after cutting the breeze last start, that was successive runs where he wilted after a tough run. Hustling early, if he can touch down in front, he can bounce back.
