Racing Queensland confirms that the Dalby & NDJC race meeting scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday December 8, has been abandoned due to the state of the track.
The decision was made by QRIC following consultation with the club and as a consequence of the track becoming waterlogged after being subjected to a deluge of rainfall this afternoon.
It was also subsequently determined that there is no likelihood that the track will dry our to the extent that it could be deemed safe to race on tomorrow.
RQ will now give consideration to the possibility that replacement racing opportunities might be programmed in the region within the next week.
Trainers and riders with commitments at the abandoned meeting have been advised by way of SMS messaging.
