The Emerald Jockey Club non-TAB race meeting scheduled for Sunday 10 January has now been abandoned due to weather/state of the track.
Emerald’s Pioneer Park racecourse received approximately 20mm rainfall on Friday night causing the meeting to be postponed from Saturday to Sunday. Further rain has fallen since the postponement announcement making the track unsuitable for racing.
RQ will liaise with the Emerald Jockey Club regarding future options for a replacement race meeting.
As such, an additional race has been added to the Thangool RC non-TAB meeting scheduled for Saturday 16 January. The additional race is:
