RACE TWO
BUTCHERFEELGOOD (6) has really started to put it all together and in her past 4 starts has 2 wins and 2 minors, all from tough gates. Easing from this same gate last week before making a strong move wide off the track to sweep by to claim the easiest of 21m victories. This looks no harder and she can repeat. SHEZ GOT BLING (9) was pinned down on the markers last start before trying to join into the action in the closing stages when 7m in arrears of the winner ROYAL PRINCESS. 6m away here 3 starts back when working into the contest wide off the track, she can be making a closing play to challenge here. LEAPING LEO (3) eased from gate 4 to find position last start and then struggled to eat into the deficit over the AP 2138m trip. Settling closer to the action, he has minor place claims. FLIGHTNFIGHT (4) settled in the pocket trail from gate 1 when down the line at Dubbo last time out. Placed at both starts prior to that when positioned on the speed, he can be thereabouts here. SELECTIONS: BUTCHERFEELGOOD (6), SHEZ GOT BLING (9), LEAPING LEO (3), FLIGHTNFIGHT (4) SUGGESTED BET: BUTCHERFEELGOOD (6) to win
RACE THREE AROONA (8) had no luck last start and was searching for gaps to make a meaningful challenge when 8m in arrears of the winner. Buried away the start prior, he can loo to follow through to secure position here. In a wide-open contest, he can look to make the closing shot a winning one. ILLBEWATCHING (4) looked like he had found conditions to suit last start and after spearing across from gate 3 to lead, tried to keep it rolling in front. With no answer to the finishing power of BUTCHERFEELGOOD, he kept the remainder chasing as best of the rest. Showing early speed again has him in contention. REGALIA (9) eased from gate 5 to find position last time out before making a sweeping run to arrive for a 4m victory. Ending a 2-year winless streak in the process of victory, he can take the confidence to look for a repeat in this. MANY DELIGHTS (1) did his share of work here 2 starts back and after the tough trip was still giving when 5m from the winner. With the chance of the nice trip in behind the speed, he can make a closing play.
SELECTIONS: AROONA (8), ILLBEWATCHING (4), REGALIA (9), MANY DELIGHTS (1) SUGGESTED BET: AROONA (8) to win
RACE FOUR This shapes as a tough race to dissect where the 2nd line may have the edge. With that the way it looks, it could be the 2nd up GOODJET (9) that can land the loot. Trying to take them all the way at her 1st run here in Qld last start, she went too hard and was gunned down. Placed her previous 3 in succession prior to arriving, she can chase them down. TICK OF THE CLOCK (8) finished 6m from MISTER DECORUM over the AP 2138m trip last start after having an early look for the front before taking cover. Striking trouble the start prior, he can look to press through at the start to secure position and with even luck can make a challenge in this line up. ARK (2) takes his 1st look at Redcliffe and has been struggling to reproduce his best in recent outings. With good early speed, he can fire the first shot and gets his chance to recapture some form. COUNTRY RUN (7) slid across early to find the space for the trail and the economical trip allowed him to hold on for the silver when only a half-neck away. Needing a slice of luck, he will be probing.
SELECTIONS: GOODJET (9), TICK OF THE CLOCK (8), ARK (2), COUNTRY RUN (7) SUGGESTED BET: GOODJET (9) to win
RACE FIVE MYKINDOFFEELING (6) will strip fitter following her latest outing when resuming from a spell. Taken back in the early stages from this same alley, she was then making good closing metres to grab the bronze. A winner at her previous 2 starts, a forward play could be the option to capitalise in this. GIDUP DARCY (9) returns from a spell and has transferred to the Graham Dwyer yard since his last appearance. That came back in June when finishing best to claim a narrow win over the 2040m trip after securing the pocket trail in transit. The gate hurts but he can make a challenge in this line-up. GEORGEZILLA (5) was a winner here back in February after the prefect trip in behind the leader. Shut down after that win, he resumed here last week when best of the chasing bunch behind SCOTCH EN ICE. From the gate he is a place hope. BETTOR MEMORIES (8) opted for cover from gate 1 last start and then just did not have the required momentum into the passing lane. Doing it the tough way the start prior, she can join in to feature here.
SELECTIONS: MYKINDOFFEELING (6), GIDUP DARCY (9), GEORGEZILLA (5), BETTOR MEMORIES (8) SUGGESTED BET: MYKINDOFFEELING (6) to win
RACE SIX IT AINT ROYAL (4) takes his 1st look at Redcliffe and arrives with some handy form that includes a Tamworth win and 3 placings in his past 5 starts. Holding for the bronze last start at Parkes over the 2040m trip, he can roll forward here and with the ability to work if required, might just pinch this. GUTS (1) has been runner-up at his past 2 starts, the latest when working home wide with cover after unable to get closer to the pegs from gate 5 in the early stages. Worried out of it the start prior when stared down in front, he has the options here and can look to start the new year in style. RAINBOW STYLING (2) was trying to make a closing pay from the 2nd line last start, but the tempo made it tough for the chasers. Grabbed in the closing stages when leading them up here 2 starts back, she can feature again. GUY LOOKS GOOD (6) was sent to the poles for the short trip home last start and was making good metres in the closing stages when 3rd to DEVOUGED. In nice touch, with a stroke of luck he can join in from the tough gate. SELECTIONS: IT AINT ROYAL (4), GUTS (1), RAINBOW STYLING (2), GUY LOOKS GOOD (6) SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-6
RACE SEVEN
Placed in 3 of her 5 starts here at The Triangle, ADRENALINE RUSH (8) might have found her chance to land a breakthrough win. Not suited when obliged to race tough over the AP 2138m last start, it followed a dictating win at Marburg. With the right trail through at the start, this looks within reach. GWENDALION (2) was angled to the pegs from gate 9 last start and looking for some luck and short-cuts along the way, was not that far from the winner. Beaten by a wide gate when retreating at Marburg the start prior, she can look to optimise her early speed to make her play for victory. MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (7) would have been a solid chance in this line-up with a different alley, but he looks set to be buried in the run and chasing from back in the pack. Game in defeat after working last start, he will be probing for openings. MAYWYNS JEWEL (4) spent plenty of gas in finding the front last start over the 2040m trip from this alley and was out of bullets at the top of the stretch. Only a half-head away here 3 starts back, limiting the early burn will be key to her chances.
SELECTIONS: ADRENALINE RUSH (8), GWENDALION (2), MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (7), MAYWYNS JEWEL (4) SUGGESTED BET: ADRENALINE RUSH (8) to win
RACE EIGHT FAVOURITEHIGHLIGHT (6) has no favours from the wide gate, but she might just have the required edge to overcome the impediment. Working home soundly behind BLUES TERROR last start, she chased home the same winner the start prior after retreating from a wide gate. With a rub of the green in transit, she can arrive. KIAMAROSIE (2) was obliged to race first over here 2 starts back and after the hard trip was still fighting when 7m in arrears of the winner TRUNKEY DIGGER. Again, forced to roll the sleeves at Marburg last start, she can fire the early bullets here and landing the first blow will challenge. VOODOO FELLA (7) has hit some nice form of late with 5 wins in his past 11 along with a pair of placings. Finishing all over the top of them to score over the AP mile last start, he will be probing for openings here. OUR ULTIMATE HANNA (8) was a winner here 2 starts back when making the most of the ace to take them all the way. Hitting the board in 5 of 7 here at the track, she can hit the board again.
SELECTIONS: FAVOURITEHIGHLIGHT (6), KIAMAROSIE (2), VOODOO FELLA (7), OUR ULTIMATE HANNA (8) SUGGESTED BET:
RACE NINE BEE GEES BANDIT (2) does not venture to the Peninsula that often and will line-up for just the 4th time here. Freshened since his last appearance when obliged to race tough and finishing down the line, he can take control after the green light and with the right moves can hold them out. MUCH BETTOR (4) has been kept fresh since his last outing when down the line behind the talented L L COOL J. Buried in the run after an error from inside the 2nd line the start prior, his run here 3 starts back from gate 5 was big when wide all the way. With a smart record at the track, he can lay down the challenge. LITTLE CHANGE (8) was forced to do plenty of work in the run last week when sent around them in the early stages and required to cut the breeze. Clinging on for the bronze, he can join in again. KURAHAUPO GAMBLER (9) lands another tough alley after facing the 2nd line at his past 3 in succession. Closing soundly when 6m from TUAPEKA LIGHT last start, he can chime in late here.
SELECTIONS: BEE GEES BANDIT (2), MUCH BETTOR (4), LITTLE CHANGE (8), KURAHAUPO GAMBLER (9) SUGGESTED BET: BEE GEES BANDIT (2) to win
RACE TEN GOALKICKER (2) took on a mares qualifier last start and after releasing the speed early was able to hold on for a mid-field finish behind GEORGIE MARTIN. Wide and 2nd line gates stung her chances at the previous 3 outings and from the improved alley can bring up a century of starts in style. ROCKNROLL PROMISE (9) was a long way back in the pack at Marburg last start before making a strong closing challenge to grab the silver when 5m in arrears of GOSLING IN FLIGHT. Unable to secure position and forced to retreat the start prior, he comes into this fresh and can make a play. LIFEINHEAVEN (5) retreated from gate 6 last start to find position before closing out strongly along the passing lane. The gate does her no favours, but she can be chiming in late in this line-up. ROWDYS ACE (4) struck trouble last start and was unable to complete his duties as a result. Fighting on here 3 starts back when leading them up, he can press forward here to feature.
SELECTIONS: GOALKICKER (2), ROCKNROLL PROMISE (9), LIFEINHEAVEN (5), ROWDYS ACE (4) SUGGESTED BET:
