Racing Queensland advises that the Albion Park greyhound meetings for Monday, August 16 and 23 will be conducted as catching pen meetings.
RQ, QRIC, and the Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club determined that conducting a Finish On Lure (FOL) meeting would not be appropriate due to the requirement for essential racing personnel to wear face masks under current race meeting protocols in place until Sunday 22 August 2021.
Due to heats programmed on August 16, the race meeting on August 23 will also be conducted using the catching pen to keep the race conditions the same for the final.
