Racing Queensland confirms that following a track inspection this afternoon the Warwick Turf Club meeting on Tuesday, November 16, has been abandoned.
The heavy rainfall experienced in the area over the past 48 hours has resulted in the track being under water at present, with there being no likelihood that it will recover in time for Tuesday’s race meeting to proceed.
Trainers and riders with engagements at the meeting will momentarily be advised via SMS.
RQ is currently looking to reschedule the meeting. A decision as to whether this can be facilitated will be made at short notice.
