The Alpha JC non-TAB race meeting on Saturday, March 26 has been postponed to Sunday, March 27.
Approximately 26mm of rainfall was recorded at the Alpha racetrack on Friday night, and despite extensive efforts by the race club to remedy wet sections of the track, a QRIC track inspection found it unsuitable for racing on Saturday.
A phantom (betting) meeting will still be staged at the Alpha racecourse on Saturday with all facilities available.
Due to the postponement to Sunday, all scratchings from the Saturday meeting have been reinstated. There will be no fees applicable to any scratchings from the postponed Sunday race meeting.
