RACE ONE

ARNOLD STREET (1) held the front last start at the 2040m from gate 2 and was trying to fight them off when tippy toeing the closing stages to be 6m from the winner. A smart winner over the Armidale mile three starts back, he can protect the poles to take them all the way.

GOSLING IN FLIGHT (2) has some early hustle and can take a shot or look for the trail. Trying to take them all the way over the 1780m last time when fading in the closing stages, he was well beaten in both attempts prior. The gate helps his chances.

SIR BULSKI (4) resumes from a spell and is the only runner to bring experience in this format, with an impressive 2 for 2 record. Last seen back in January, he can make a play.

RACE TWO

IMA BIRUBI BOY (1) comes out of the 2200m Goldstrike Series at Marburg where he was best of the chasers behind SO AM I in his heat before grabbing 3^rd behind that same winner in the Final. The option for the trail becomes available and he looks to get his chance.

CRADLE OF FIRE (2) is a newcomer to Qld and brings a Bathurst win three starts back when firing out from gate 4 to take them all the way over the 1730m trip. Releasing after finding the front last start at the 2260m, he is trained on the track here at Redcliffe and has the speed to throw it down.

MAFFIOSO GIRL (4) returns to Qld to the Greg Elkins stable after campaigning in the North-West of NSW. A Tamworth winner three starts back, she has a previous win in this format and can chime in.

RACE THREE

FRANCO NANDOR (6) was sent out deep into the red last start from gate 4 where he had the hustle to find the front. After a steady opening panel, he dialled it right up and threw down a 27.7 third panel but was then collared on the line. A winner at his previous three in succession, he can bounce back.

NICKS PICK (8) will take good benefit from his last start when settling at the rear from gate 11 over the 2138m but did not really get into the contest. Not too far from UNCLE SHANK two starts back which was his last run for his 3YO term, he can look to make a challenge here.

DELIGHTFUL REASON (1) has not had much go her way this season and wide gates have made it even tougher. Too far back when retreating from gate 7 last start, she can chime in from this gate.

REGULUS (5) was building towards a win after three successive placings and franked that when powering home over the top to score two starts back. The gate stings his chances here.

RACE FOUR

ROCKSLIDE (1) made the most of his opportunity from this gate over this trip two starts back when burrowing through to keep them wide and take them all the way. Tackling a qualifier last start from gate 6 when eased to the rear before closing out nicely, he has the gate to capitalise.

SO MUCH MORE (7) looked to have found his race last start to open his 4YO term and was sent to the post in the red to achieve the win. Settling in the 1x1 trail through the run, he could not reel them in and had to settle for a half-neck 2^nd. Runner-up in 3 from 3 on this deck, he will be probing.

HEY MISTER TAYLOR (4) was angled to the poles last start from the second line before making some nice metres over the closing stages to finish 4m from the winner. Breaking a win drought two starts back, he can feature.

GET READY TO ROCK (3) started from inside the second line last time out and using the passing lane was 5m from the winner. Meeting stronger types prior to that effort, she is in the mix.

RACE FIVE

ROBERTS DELIGHT (2) tackled the Trot Rods last week when showing early hustle but ultimately was no match for IM LOKI, finishing in 2^nd position. Runner-up the start prior over the 1780m when asked to do it the tough way outside the speed, he comes up with the gate to open his Qld account.

ABERCROMBIE TAB (8) was obliged to sit parked last start as CHUMP CHOP dictated in front and despite the tough trip, he was able to hold on for the bronze. Working hard at Marburg the start prior, he can follow through from this gate to make a challenge.

MOONLIGHT BUTCHER (9) eased into the running line from gate 4 last start and was making a late play to grab 2^nd behind CHUNMP CHOP. A Marburg winner from the tapes two starts back, he has claims.

MAYWYN MACDUFF (3) was wide off the track at headquarters last start over the 2138m when finishing 6m in arrears of the winner ILLBEWATCHING. His record here is good, and he is in the mix.

RACE SIX

GOLDEN SAND (1) should relish the improved gate after facing wide or second line gates in recent outings. Buried in the run and searching for gaps when 4m from the winner over the AP mile two starts back, he was asked to sit parked three back as SPEAK THE TRUTH cashed in. He can dictate.

ROCKNHOLME (6) was sent to sit parked here last time out and despite the tough trip grinding it out, proved too strong in claiming a 2m margin. Fitter again after two runs back from a spell, he faces the wide gate again with the ODM embargo but can throw down the challenge.

SWEET JASMINE (7) could not get warm in the closing stages over the 2138m last start at The Creek. Her form leading into that had been solid and with the chance for a cosy trip can make a play.

IMA BEACH BABE (3) started fav last start over the AP mile but was beaten for early hustle and had to settle for the silver when finishing 2m in arrears. With two wins in her previous three, she can feature.

RACE SEVEN

TEACHERS PET (1) has been in top form, claiming five wins in her past six starts, the latest over the AP mile when leading throughout and taking a 6m margin. Powering home from the second line at The Creek the start prior, she lands the gate to make the most of her chances.

ROLLONX (5) was too slippery in a Trot Rods heat last week, pulling clear to claim a 5m margin. That made it three wins in his past six starts, while there has been excuses in a couple of the efforts where he has been beaten. Despite the tricky gate, he has early speed to challenge.

BE ON THE SLY (9) landed gate 1 last start and looked to capitalise by trying for an all the way effort when finishing 5m in arrears of the winner HIGH ON MONTANA. The gate tings his chances.

FORGIVE ME (7) eased from a wide gate last start and was back in the pack and never really got warm. With an economical trip on the poles, she can look to chime in.

RACE EIGHT

SCHOOBY (3) has three wins in his past four starts and lines up here shooting for the hat-trick. A Trot Rods winner two back, he was sent forward from the second line last time, pressing on to take control and once in charge pulled clear to a big win. The threepeat is within reach from this gate.

LEFT IN THE WIND (9) was sent forward as the lone second line runner last start to sit parked over the 2040m trip and after the tough trip was still giving on the line when 5m in arrears of the winner. Winning over the 947m scamper the start prior, there should be a good tempo in this.

FEELING THE POWER (7) might just need a slice of luck at some stage from this gate to find the gaps with momentum. Just a half-neck from the winner last time, he will be probing.

CHASIN DREAMZ (2) has been in some nice touch of late with two wins in her past five starts, the latest here last week when scoring a gritty win after sitting parked. With some good tempo, she is right in the mix.

RACE NINE

EMMALEEN (8) is moving closer to breaking the maiden tag after placing at her past two attempts. Using the passing lane last start to be within 2m of the winner, it followed a similar pattern two starts back when chasing home MISTER GALVINATOR.

FLOORLESS (1) will be wearing the red saddlecloth but will start from the outside paint after making an error last start that see her again cop the ODM embargo. Runner-up from the outside here three starts back, if she can get the start right, she can make a challenge in this line up.

SWEET SCOOT (3) did not have the cleanest passage here last start as SCHOOBY pulled clear for a big win. A return to maiden company helps her chances of finishing in the money.

GRIGORA (5) resumes from a spell for a new barn after he struggled to fire a shot in five starts last campaign. Moving one barrier closer, he might find this a shade easier than recent attempts.

RACE TEN
 

EXCITING TIMES (2) is a Captaintreacherous filly on debut for Shannon Price that ranks as a half-sister to the handy SO MUCH MORE and MISTER CAUTIOUS. With a tidy trial in readiness for her first appearance, she looks to have plenty of scope.

SKYLAR BREE (5) is on debut for Greg Elkins, with the daughter of Hurrikane Kingcole trialling in nice order to prepare for her first race outing. The first foal of the five-win race mare Skylarhain, the gate is tricky at what will be her first look at Redcliffe.

IMA MIDNIGHT REBEL (1) has had two career starts and should appreciate his best gate to date. Fading in the run last start over the AP mile, his debut was sound behind THE TAX CULLECTOR.
