Gold Coast Turf Club programming changes

Racing Queensland advises that a number of changes have been made to distances of races at the club’s August 26 race meeting.

The changes are as a result of the track redevelopment works at Club, which will include the construction of a temporary training track. They are:

• Gold Coast Cup was 2400, is now 2200m; (previously advised)
• Benchmark 75 Handicap was 1400m, is now 1350m;
• Class 3 Plate (Set Weights) was 1800m, is now 1700m;
• Maiden Plate (4YO and upwards - Set Weights) was 1400m, is now 1350m; and
• 3YO Maiden Handicap was 1400m, is now 1350m.
