RACE ONE Placed in 3 of her 7 here at headquarters, EVERYSECONDCOUNTS (3) finds the ideal set up here to make it two wins in a week. Making full use of an inside passage at Redcliffe on Tuesday, she darted through to take the win. With all 6 of her career wins from the mobile, she looks the one to beat. KAPAI (4) is not suited off handicaps and his past two have been from the 30m tape where he has been chasing in the run. Up near the speed three back when holding on for 3rd after a tough trip, it followed a 6m margin after darting across under mobile conditions. He can get forward to challenge. MY RUMOUR HAS IT (2) has faced the starter twice since arriving in Qld and found trouble from the tapes in both. Unable to hit the board in 6 mobile attempts in NZ, she remains under watch. SONETTO (6) stepped straight to the front last time at Marburg and then took them all the way. With a plethora of experience from behind the start car, she can be chiming in here.
SELECTIONS: EVERYSECONDCOUNTS (3), KAPAI (4), MY RUMOUR HAS IT (2), SONETTO (6) SUGGESTED BET: EVERYSECONDCOUNTS (3) to win
RACE TWO Beaten by gate 7 against the FFA performers last start after starting from outside the front line, KAR MANOR (9) should appreciate the trailing draw here. Looming strongly from a 10m handicap two starts back when 3rd, it followed a pair of 2nd placings. With the right trip he can power over the top. RIGONDEAUX (6) started from a 10m impost from the tapes last time out where he was able to make good metres int the closing stages to be 3m from the winner. Overcoming gate 7 at the 2138m to win from the mobile two starts back, if he can trot throughout, he can challenge. MILLY AN EYRE (1) added another minor to her card last start as she continues her consistent form but still chases an elusive win. Placed her past six in succession, she has the speed to feature. LEESA CASTLETON (3) was resuming from a spell for her first start in Qld two runs back where she got it all wrong from the stand and second up, she darted through a gap late to arrive on the wire. Her mobile record is the query.
SELECTIONS: KAR MANOR (9), RIGONDEAUX (6), MILLY AN EYRE (1), LEESA CASTLETON (3) SUGGESTED BET: KAR MANOR (9) to win
RACE THREE Sent forward from the outside gate on The Triangle on Monday night, CLARES FOOL (4) was required to do it the tough way. Grafting away outside the leader, he fought hard to be just 4m from the winner. Not suited from the second line his previous two, he finds conditions here to capitalise. RISKY BUZINESS (6) faces a tricky gate but with early hustle can look to secure a forward spot. Runner-up over this trip two starts back after sitting parked and fighting off all bar JET FORCE, he was then hemmed away last time from inside the second line. He can issue a challenge in this. KEAYANG SPONGE BOB (10) was a Redcliffe winner from the second line three runs back when owning superior closing speed to take the prize. Runner-up at his next attempt, he can feature. JILLIBY GIZMO (3) angled to the inside from a second line gate at Redcliffe last start and did not warm into the contest. Grabbing 3rd two starts back, he can be handy enough to chime in here. SELECTIONS: CLARES FOOL (4), RISKY BUZINESS (6), KEAYANG SPONGE BOB (10), JILLIBY GIZMO (3) SUGGESTED BET: CLARES FOOL (4) to win
RACE FOUR Completing a hat-trick of victories last start to take her record to 3 from 5, the 2YO CHEER LEADER (6) will again face off against older opponents. Claiming the Triad Consolation two starts back, she scored from the trail last start in slick time. Despite the tough gate, she can make it a quartet. WHATA TERROR (7) was well supported last start and was able to overcome gate 6 after sliding across early to find the 1x1 trail and finishing best for a PB victory. Tough in defeat from the second line the start prior, he can get forward from the wide gate to issue the challenge. MYSTICAL JAZZ (10) backs up from Monday where she was able to charge across from gate 6 at Redcliffe to find the front and then take them all the way. At her first look on the big deck, she has podium claims. PUSHINIT UPHILL (1) should strip fitter following his return to racing last time out where he was first up since May. Picking off a few late after easing from gate 6, the cosy trip here can suit. SELECTIONS: CHEER LEADER (6), WHATA TERROR (7), MYSTICAL JAZZ (10), PUSHINIT UPHILL (1) SUGGESTED BET: CHEER LEADER (6) to win
RACE FIVE The numbers don’t appear overly inspiring for ALL THE FOURS (9) but sandwiched between some nearer to last than first finishes is a win here two back. Eased from gate 4 on that occasion, he was able to sail home over the top to score. This profiles in a similar way and he can descend in the stretch. FORGIVE ME (1) was a Redcliffe winner five runs back after tucking into the 1x1 trail from gate 3 and then finishing best to score. Not too far away in each run since the win where not much has gone her way, she was runner-up last start behind the in-form LONDON LADY. A cosy trip looks ideal. BREAEVIEW FELLA (8) was runner-up from gate 1 last start after securing the trail and then holding off the remaining challengers behind NONE GRATER. The peg trip appeals once again. IM LOKI (4) as required to work hard when parked last start and after the tough trip wilted from the workload. Making some nice metres from the second line two back, his chances will rise if he can find top. SELECTIONS: ALL THE FOURS (9), FORGIVE ME (1), BREAEVIEW FELLA (8), IM LOKI (4) SUGGESTED BET: ALL THE FOURS (9) to win
RACE SIX In super form since arriving in Qld that has seen him win 4 of 6 on this deck, BETTORS HOPE (6) finds the right set up to add another to the tally here. With the perfect trip watching the action last start, when angled into open space, he sailed home for an effortless victory. He can go 5 from 7. EVERYTHING HAPPENS (4) was responsible for a strong effort two back when sent to sit parked from gate 3 over the flying mile. Digging in for the fight, he was able to graft out a strong 3rd in a last half where the power was on. Charging home last start when just 1m from the winner, he can challenge. CALF PEN (1) returns from a spell after facing the starter just once last campaign where he was 3rd behind SHEZ NOTORIUS. With a smart trial hit out to open the pipes, he can chime in off a soft trip. BETTERTHANAROCKET (3) has faced the starter on four occasions since crossing the Tasman, the past three of those with an ODM embargo. Making some nice metres in the closing stages last start, he can look to take advantage of the improved gate. SELECTIONS: BETTORS HOPE (6), EVERYTHING HAPPENS (4), CALF PEN (1), BETTERTHANAROCKET (3) SUGGESTED BET: BETTORS HOPE (6) to win
RACE SEVEN A beaten fav here last week after starting from inside the second line, ARCHILLES (2) was hemmed away and never had a decent crack at finishing in the money. Placed in three successive attempts which followed an all the way win over this trip, he can get to the pegs and look to see it out. CAPTAIN BRAVEHEART (9) had an early look last start but with no lead on offer had to roll the sleeves and do it the tough way. Fighting hard to finish under 3m from the winner, it followed successive placings and with the trailing trip here can issue a closing challenge. PEBBLE SANDS (6) found the front from gate 5 here four runs back and once in control was able to see it out. Sparingly raced since that victory back in July, he can look to fill the minors. STUDLEIGH MARK (7) is afforded no favours from the outside front line but brings placings in 4 of his past 5 appearances. Collared last start at Marburg after setting a strong tempo, he is a podium hope. SELECTIONS: ARCHILLES (2), CAPTAIN BRAVEHEART (9), PEBBLE SANDS (6), STUDLEIGH MARK (7) SUGGESTED BET: ARCHILLES (2) to win
RACE EIGHT After a dominant victory from outside the second line last start, BETTING ORIGIN (9) again faces the back row but like his last victory, looks to hold the edge. Sent around them to sit parked last time, he fought them off in a PB victory. Claiming the Triad Consolation five runs back, he looks the one. CHAL BE (8) was snookered away last start from gate 10 and was making ground when it was all over last start in grabbing the silver behind SHARP SHOOTER. Making full use of a front-line gate three runs back in dictating, he will be probing for the openings once again. TINGE OF FEAR (1) was a winner from the second line here two starts back after being sent around them early to get closer to the action. Collared in the closing strides from this same gate last start, she has options. STUDLEIGH SONNY (7) faces a step up to the level of opposition he has been facing and the task is made tougher with the extreme gate. But he brings form, with successive Redcliffe victories and can feature again here. SELECTIONS: BETTING ORIGIN (9), CHAL BE (8), TINGE OF FEAR (1), STUDLEIGH SONNY (7) SUGGESTED BET: BETTING ORIGIN (9) to win
RACE NINE Putting the writing on the wall with a strong first up performance in the Sunshine State, HESTON ZOOLANDER (5) duly franked the effort with a second up win when able to cross to the front and take them all the way. Doing it tough last time out, positioning cheaply will be key to his chances in a race that should generate some heat. ITZ CHEROKEE JACK (3) should appreciate the improved alley after being on the ODM embargo sheet at his past four starts. Defying that impediment when scoring a tough win after sitting parked three runs back, he was making some nice metres last start wide out and can throw it down here. TIMZEE (4) returned from a spell in perfect order two runs back when finding the front from gate 3 and fighting them off to score. Doing it tough first over last start, he can fire some early bullets. NO DOUBT (1) should be able to tuck in behind the speed here for an economical trip and wait for the passing lane to make a play. Just a half-neck away two back from the trail, he can be probing. SELECTIONS: HESTON ZOOLANDER (5), ITZ CHEROKEE JACK (3), TIMZEE (4), NO DOUBT (1) SUGGESTED BET: HESTON ZOOLANDER (5) to win
